I sit down

I need to read a poem

I need to write a poem

but what can I say?

what should I say?

what should I wear?

how should I act?

when will I go up?

will I memorize it?

will I read it?

too many questions

stupid social anxiety

okay that wasn't really a silly poem (ruby online shrugs)

Preface: I like walking our dog with my dad :)

I pull on my shoes

open and close the door

pull on the leash

"come on girl," I say

we walk

in the brisk air

silent

father and I conversate

dog versus cat face off

walk home

my face cold

cross the street

door open and door close

layers shed

water drunken

Preface: ice cream

vanilla ice cream

smooth and creamy

smoosh the chocolate in

tastes like an in-n-out shake

this next poem is about my sister being sick:

sniffly

watery eyes

red face

hot and cold

fevers

drinks

supplements

wet socks

natural remedies

extra tv

laying on the couch

falling asleep

so there are some silly poems! what did you think? It was so nice to just let my inner child have some fun. However, it's not really my inner child because I can be a child on the outside, too.
